Biography
Valentine Hueckel (they/them/theirs) creates music at the intersection of mood and narrative. Aiming to spark imagination and joy with groovy and memorable scores, they compose for videogames, film, performance, and fun. When not composing, you’ll find Valentine playing bridge or dancing in a moshpit.
Recent projects include composing music for the videogame Project G.R.A.B. (2024) and indie film Drifters (2024). Currently, Valentine is hard at work composing for the upcoming film The Virus of Restlessness and musical platformer Hop’n + Bop’n, slated to release in late 2025.
Valentine holds a Master’s degree in Music Composition from Mannes at The New School as well as a Bachelor’s from the University of Central Florida, where they studied with David T. Little and Alex Burtzos, respectively.
